MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH WRESTLING
As my Dad said before passing, "There is always one more person to help". He was always helping others and I am doing the same. This is the reasoning for starting Will Of A Warrior - Kangas Wrestling
Who Is Coach Kangas?
I grew up in Pennsylvania and started wrestling at age 6 and walked off the mat my senior year in college with a loss at Nationals. In my career I had the opportunity to work with some of the best wrestlers in the world at camps and training at Fox Catchers.
Last year with much help from friends, I started my journey to one of my goals in life. I look to have a foundation to help children in education and fitness. I focus on these two areas because I grew up with a learning disability and my work ethic in wrestling helped me overcome these challenges and become successful in my career. I feel these two pillars will give children a foundation to grow so I set out to provide coaching in my own style and make an impact, not just by showing moves but also in ways of thinking and approaching life and learning. Through Donations and Sales of my Apparel I look to support our community in Education and Fitness. In my first year I was able to have a $500 Women's Scholarship and this year look to add a Men's Scholarship. With only a few clinics in 2022 and a monthly summer schedule for 2023 Kangas Wrestling is moving forward and looking to Make A Difference through Wrestling.
