In today's session

On top of wrestling drills and demonstration of moves I will discuss a few things prior. In this session I will talk about how perception becomes reality and your actions reflect on yourself, your family, team and coach. I have selected this discussion point as many will be wrestling in competition in the next few days and of course a video went viral of one wrestler punching another after a match.

  • Background on this subject

    • An embarrassing time wrestling in college and words that left an impression on me

    • Kind words that were said to me working in Asia and how this made me realize what others think of Americans

    • Unwelcomed experience in a small town while working in Hungary

Today's wrestling technique will focus on a few important areas of controlling your opponent

  • Blocking or Removing a post and applying pressure (Takedowns, Breakdowns and Tilts)
